Beaver Lodge, Atlanta, ID. One of the most beautiful settings in Idaho, nestled between the Boise National Forest and Sawtooth Wilderness are. Atlanta was founded in 1864 during the Civil War as a gold and silver mining town. It is 5,400 feet above sea level on the edge of the Sawtooth Mountains, located at the base of Greylock Mountain which summits 9,363 feet! It is 85 miles from Boise on mostly US Forest Service dirt roads, winding along the Middle Fork of the Boise River. This is the only road open in the winter.

Friday 12pm-8pm
Saturday: 10am-8pm
Sunday: 10am-7pm

Our Cabins

We have five clean and comfortable rental cabins all with a beautiful view of Greylock mountain. They vary in configuration, but they all have queen beds and indoor plumbing. Some have kitchenettes or kitchens and additional beds. The kitchens have basic cook ware and such. We have  picnic tables and lawn chairs available along with  charcoal grills. The cabins have propane heat and electric lights. Wifi is available in the restaurant. Pets are allowed in the cabins with an additional cleaning fee.

Things to do

Atlanta is home to a of couple hot springs with more on the middle fork road. There are hiking trails that take you into the heart of the Sawtooth wilderness. The area offers many single track trails for dirt bikes. Other power sport enthusiasts enjoy the many miles of forest roads with ATV's, SxS's, Jeeps or other overland rigs. If you enjoy winter, the Beaver Lodge grooms 15 miles of cross-country ski trails. You can also haul or ride your snowmobile to Atlanta for excellent back country riding. Atlanta also has an air strip for back country pilots. Call ahead and we can arrange or ride to the Lodge. The airport is located about 1.5 miles from the Lodge.
