Boise National Forest

Boise National Forest cover over 2,600,000 acres and allows year-round recreation possibilities. The forest has 1,300 miles of hiking trails, and 7,600 miles of streams and river. It also has numerous groomed trails for cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.
Middle Fork Boise River

Middle Fork Boise River offers numerous opportunities for fishing, camping, or simply relaxing along it's banks. Fishing is especially popular, giving anglers a chance to catch rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, and whitefish.
Sawtooth Mountains National Forest

Enjoy a variety in activities in Sawtooth National Forest, including hiking, mountain biking, snomobiling, and cross-country skiing. With over over two million acres of land, recreational activites are virtually unlimited.
