All roads to Atlanta are Forest Service unpaved roads. Conditions vary through out the year and some are closed seasonally. The only road open in the winter is the Middle Fork River Road. There is no cell service in the area. Call us before you travel for an update. The most used route from Boise is Highway 21 east to the Middle Fork Boise River Road. This follows the river all the way up and terminates in Atlanta running right past the lodge. From the south travel Featherville and take either James Creek or Phifer Creek roads from the ghost town of Rocky Bar. Both roads terminate on the Middle Fork Boise River Road. Once to it, just follow it upriver. Back country flyers can land at airstrip 55H located a mile or so north of lodge. Ground transportation can be pre-arranged.
